Melissa He
Interior Design Intern
With over a year of experience in working on various types of projects, Melissa has developed a keen interest in interiors and hospitality design. She decided to bring her passion to expand her personal knowledge base and develop as a professional in RDC.
Having five years of background studying Fine Art in China and pursuing Bachelor of Fine Art, Interior Design in Cal State Long Beach, it allows Melissa to create a strong foundation to be a critical thinker, storyteller and curators of details. Melissa believes every new project has its own distinctive voice, that provides an opportunity to open the door for adventures and challenge herself to design space to reflect the client’s distinctive personalities. In addition, she aims to pursue solutions that will support the greater good of the community with thorough and diligent investigation of clients and environment. Looking into the future, Melissa imagines herself as an impactful interior designer, collecting different perspectives to create meaningful environments and provide unique experiences that evolve and grow with interaction.
Melissa is a travel enthusiast and adventurist. She believes we are here in the world for discovery, growth, and creative accomplishment. New culture, new experiences have always broaden her perspective to encourage her to continue traveling to different places and weave reminiscences of her travels into her design.
